
This may be the most unusual painting I have ever done. I'm not even sure where the idea came from, or if it was even an idea that needed to be expressed. When I sent it to the company I paint for, they debated on whether or not to use it. Obviously, they ended up printing it -- perhaps just for the sake of variety. Maybe the best part of this painting is the title. It incorporates the sound ("honks") of the geese, the antlers (yes, I know they're not horns) of the bull moose, and finally the for that enshrouds them.
